What Finitizer does
Finitizer is a cloud cost optimization platform for AWS, Google Cloud and BigQuery. It connects read-only to your accounts, finds the specific things that are costing you money and should not be, and turns each one into a piece of work somebody can actually complete — a Jira ticket, or a pull request against your infrastructure code.
The distinction that matters: most cost tools show you a chart of what you spent. Finitizer names the resource, quantifies the saving, proposes the change, and follows it to done. Industry estimates put wasted cloud spend at 30–40% of the bill; a typical engagement reduces it by 20–40%.
How it works
1.Read
Finitizer connects read-only to your AWS and Google Cloud accounts and collects usage, configuration and utilisation data. Nothing is changed, and no workload is touched.
2.Find
Over 120 finders run across 30+ AWS services and BigQuery, each looking for one specific, named form of waste: an idle instance, an over-provisioned volume, a query pattern that scans more than it needs.
3.Decide
Every finding carries an estimated saving, the evidence behind it, and the exact change proposed. You review, you decide. Nothing is applied automatically.
4.Fix
Approved findings become tickets in Jira or pull requests against your infrastructure code, and the platform tracks each one through to a measured, realised saving.
